 .WHAT I’M COOKING WITH.

Beans, beans, and more beans đŸ«˜ They’ve been a staple in my kitchen for years, bringing versatility, fuel, and major health benefits to every dish. Whether I’m adding them in a sandwich or tossing them into a salad, beans are my go-to. They’re anti-inflammatory, loaded with fiber, and a great source of protein.

Which bean do you think packs the most protein? Check out this article to find out—and don’t miss the recipes. I’m definitely trying the Breakfast Hash! âŹ‡ïž

 .WHAT I’M PRIORITIZING.

Post-workout recovery đŸ”„ The hustle doesn’t stop at the workout—recovery is where we rebuild, recharge, and prepare for the next challenge. Here are my top recovery strategies to stay strong and keep pushing forward âŹ‡ïž

  • Prioritize sleep: Your body does the heavy lifting while you sleep, repairing muscle tissue and recharging for the next day. Aim for 7-9 hours a night to optimize recovery and performance. Don’t underestimate the power of rest.

  • Fuel with the right nutrients: Your body needs fuel after putting in the work. Opt for a meal or snack with a solid balance of protein, healthy fats, and carbs within 30 minutes of your workout. Think: a plant-based protein smoothie or a quick wrap to keep you energized and rebuilding those muscles.

  • Hydration is key: Your muscles crave hydration after a workout, especially when you're sweating it out. Hydrate with electrolytes to replenish what you lost, and keep your body functioning at its peak.

  • Stretch it out: Never skip your cooldown. Stretching keeps your muscles flexible and reduces the risk of injury. A dynamic stretch post-run helps lengthen and strengthen, making sure your body is ready for the next challenge.

  • Infrared sauna sessions: One of my secret weapons for recovery is the infrared sauna. After an intense workout, spending 20–30 minutes in the sauna helps reduce soreness, boost circulation, and deliver oxygen and nutrients right to the muscles. The deep heat works wonders for muscle recovery and helps me feel ready to tackle the next hustle.

 .WHAT I’M SHARING.

Tips to stay consistent 🔄 Stop waiting for the “right time” to start a goal. I just finished my 1-mile open water swim on Necker Island—a milestone that felt impossible a year ago. There’s no magic to it. It wasn’t about being perfect. It was about putting in the effort and trusting the process. If you’ve got a goal you’ve been putting off, here’s what helped me to start and stay consistent:

  • Talk to yourself like you would a friend: Encourage yourself with the same kindness and grace you give others. Choose words that build you up.

  • Take things one step at a time: Make small, intentional actions part of your routine. It’s not about doing everything at once; it’s about stacking progress, brick by brick.

  • Visualize your success: See yourself crossing that finish line or hitting your goal. Let that vision fuel your hustle.

  • Lean on your community: Don’t go solo. Share your goals with your loved ones. Surround yourself with people who uplift you, challenge you, and keep you accountable.

  • Celebrate the small wins: Every milestone counts. Recognize your progress along the way and let those moments inspire your next steps.

You’ve got this, fam! đŸ’Ș

Athlos NYC đŸƒâ€â™€ïž I’m pumped to be part of Athlos NYC, a women’s-only track event happening for one night only at the iconic Icahn Stadium on September 26th. As a commentator, I’ll be joining some of the fastest women in the world, including Olympians like 3x gold medalist Gabby Thomas, Alexis Holmes, Faith Kipyegon, and more. These powerhouse athletes will light up the track, showcasing everything I love about NYC and women’s sports. And if that wasn’t enough—Megan Thee Stallion will take the stage, with walk-out songs curated by the legendary DJ D-Nice.

This night is all about speed, sound, and swagger. Doors open at 5 PM on September 26—don’t miss out! Grab your tickets now!

Thanks for reading, Hustlers. Go out there, pivot with power, and stay curious about what’s next.
